Helmet Necessity

I have been using a helmet ever since I lived in a gated community in California and one of the trail riders horse spooked and she fell off, horse drug her and did a tap dance on her body but her head was so damaged from hitting the street she died. The equestrian store offered everyone a discount if we would buy and wear a helmet. I just bought a new one a few months ago and was riding and my horse spooked when the cows suddenly came out of the barn and she fell on the concrete and I went down with her and when my Troxel hit the cement I thought boy I was smart to wear my NEW Troxel helmet. Now I am worried it has been compromised and I will have to buy a new one already. Thanks for the great product, I know I would have been HURT without it. Sherry
