I was taking my hores out on a trail ride like we have done several times before. But this time was different as we walking down the side of the road my horse had flipped over and I hit the road head first. If I did not have my helmet on I would have had some major problems. I only ened up with a few scrapes, but I strongly believe if I did not have my helmet on I would have died or had some major brain trauma.
