Hit the Ground and Still Able to Ride Away

A lovely day riding on the Manassas National Battlefield Park. Cool temperatures, brilliant sunshine -- and baby deer popping out onto the trail in front of cantering horse! Horse went right and avoided the deer. I kept going in the direction of the trail. The damage to my helmet attests to the force of the fall. But other than a little soreness to various body parts and severely wounded pride I came through it unscathed.

I can only imagine what would have happened without an excellent designed, well fitting helmet. Thank you Troxel!
