I was lunging my new horse Mambos Lucky Zippo in the round pen yesterday. He wasn’t listening well and I was kinda bored waiting for my trainer to help me, so I was swinging the whip and just for fun I was trying to crack it. Well I’m happy I was wearing my Troxel helmet because it swung around and would have whacked me in the forehead. It wouldn’t of done any real damage just a red spot and some pain and possibly a bruise, but it just goes to show that it’s the little things that count!
