I am 46 years old and have been training and riding horses all of my life. I have only been wearing a helmet for the last two years, because of the usual
excuses such as it is uncomfortable, I don't need it because it will never happen to me, etc. The reason that I finally started wearing a helmet, was that
I had a overwhelming feeling that this was something that I needed to do. I have been wearing my helmet ever since.
This paid off for me on 5/16/07 when riding a two year old accross the pasture, I happend to ride upon a wild turkey hen setting on a nest. The hen flew up
under my horse and I was caught completly by surprise. The horse began bucking and I remember coming off over the front of the horse and landing right on my
head. The next thing that I can remember is my dog licking my face. I finally come too and cannot remember who I am, or anything else. I finally remember
where I am, and remember having a cell phone in my pocket. I call my wife who comes and takes me to the hospital. I have a ct scan of my brain and am
diagnosed with a concussion. I firmly believe that had I not been wearing a helmet, the outcome would have been much worse. Your product has saved my life.
Thank you.
