A few years ago, I started driving horses, due to health reasons. Many drivers wear decorative (or funky) hats instead of helmets. I picked up that habit until # 1 had a close call while driving #2 I started arena trials where helmets are required #3 I returned to my senses.
On Dec. 12, I had an accident while schooling in my own pasture with a very well behaved mare. My Legacy Gold split in two. I was told that I would have been an organ donor, but for my helmet. One of the M.D.'s borrowed it to show it around the E.R. I will be returning it soon, but THANK YOU for helping me survive a concussion instead of death. Those who drive horses, or ride western/saddle seat should not delude themselves
