My Troxel helmet saved my future

I was participating in an endurance ride January of 2013 in the Goethe National Forest in Florida. Something scared my most dependable, trail savy horse, Maruf.

The last thing I remember of Maruf was me hanging on his neck for dear life and the walking along the trail looking for him.

My helmet split in two along the back of my head. If not for it, I dare not imagine where I would be today. I came out of the incident with a couple of bruises. Thanks to my helmet I didn't even have a headache! I was never reunited with my horse, as I'm sure someone has a nice horse with full tack. :( I lost my horse and I'm forever sad, however, I still have my future. Thank you Troxel
