It Happened So Fast!

My horse spooked as we went under a tree branch. He bolted forward and then quickly went sideways and I fell off. I wasn't wearing a helmet. I hit the ground hard and fast. First my hip hit the ground and then my head. My head made a popping sound as it hit. It happened so fast.

I layed there confused and thought I was going to die. I was lucky and walked away with no lasting head injury.I knew immediately I'd never ride without a helmet again.
